As someone who has observed its growth and start of mass investment and adoption, I find it fascinating to consider the role AI will play in the education sector. While the transformative potential of AI in education is undeniable, it’s crucial to examine its impact on the very nature of achievement. As we strive to understand how AI can redefine achievement, it’s worth playing devil’s advocate and exploring both the potential benefits and pitfalls of this technological revolution.

AI is undoubtedly reshaping the educational landscape through personalized learning. By tailoring the curriculum, pacing, and content to each student’s unique needs, AI can foster increased engagement and motivation. However, one could argue that this hyper-personalized approach may inadvertently undermine the concept of achievement itself. Will success become an increasingly abstract concept, as students no longer share a common learning experience or set of milestones?
